I can certainly confirm that, I have received healing and have been for a while now and it definately works.

heling does work
Yes healing can / does work .... BUT i have found that it will work if the person is in a good frame of mind and quite positive i have both given and recieved healing ...
as a boy my mother would often ask me to massage her neck / shoulders or knees as she has arthritis , whenever i laid my hands on her I felt a tingling sensation and so did she , for her it was accompanied by great heat and she'd often say " it was like a hot water bottle" and i'd laugh ....
later when i was an enrolled nurse we had a lady in her 80's who would create whenever the physios walked in , and they got to the stage where they left her .
one day i went over as i could see she was in pain , i immediately knelt down and held my hands approx 1" above her joints ( it was as if someone unseen had stepped into me and shown me what to do ! ) she asked what i was doing , i just smiled and said nothing ( n ! ) hadn't got a bloody clue back the...
after a while she said the pain was replaced by a tingling sensation , when i asked her to stand up she replied that she couldnt cos of her knees , anyway i took her hands and up she got without any pain ... she was amazed ..( i was shattered !! )after 4 days of doing this once or if time allowed twice a day , she was walking with a zimmer frame on her own ! ....

Thats fantastic LM1, you are a natural obviously.
I find that the more I am learning about healing, the better I am getting and the more confident I am in doing it. It does make me thirsty though.

my next encounter was in the coronary care unit , this time it was a man with severe leg pains , again i did as b4 , but was not so drained as within 10 min he'd gone to sleep , later he told me of what he'd experienced ....the same as the old lady nearly 10 yrs b4 .....
later it was my turn to have some healing ,having been un employed for 5yrs due to my back problem ,i finally got a job , but needed transport ...( back to motorbikes ! ).... my back started to complain followed by my neck .... i went along for osteopathy at the training school in maidstone as it was cheap ( still is ! ) as you are assesed , then assigned a student for treatment ..... after a few sessions my student a french guy ( luckilly spoke good english ) asked me to lay on my back & cradled my head in his hands ( i knew from my aromatherapy and massage classes that you can actually slow someones breathing down til they fall in line with your own rate of breath ) anyway the breathing slowed down , and i felt like i was floating , i wanted to move my hand yet didnt dare as this feeling was so wonderful ,( i had been told years b4 that my guide was a red indian ...hasen't everyone !! ) ...anyway i slowly felt the energy going through me in waves and the tingling sensation , i slowly opened my eyes and standing next to me with a half smile on his face was a red indian with 3 feathers in his hair , i was gobsmacked and speechless to say the least ( yeah trace i know that was a first and last time lol ) anyway we looked at each other for what seemed like ages then he slowly nodded , i thought i did the same in acknowlkedgement , then i blinked and he was gone ..... my treatment was finished , the student when i told him was amazed and said that he'd never heard of anything like it b4 , he said he'd done " cranial osteopathy " i knew it was healing ..... as i left i was still on a high ..... kev

Oh WOW - fantastic. The first time I experienced healing was with Harmony at Saltwood. We were walking round the lake, having just finished a circle and we had managed to freak ourselves a bit, so were being really girlie and holding hands , well the next day, I had no pain in my shoulder at all, I asked her if she had done anything and she had and it was completely pain free for a good month, until I managed to hurt it again.
Luckily another close friend sends me healing for my back and shoulder everyday now and it's really helping.

One word of warning .... if giving or recieving healing and either one or neither one is in the mood ... don't do it !....... after i completed my aromatherapy and massage evening class course , a friends mother pesterd me to do her neck and shoulders ( i'd had a busy day working in intensive care ) and did not really want to do it as i was not in the mood and tired ...i eventually gave in as she sat there i placed my hands on her shoulders and took several slow deep breaths .... this woman shrieked " stop your burning me !! " .. i thought stupid woman i've barely touched you ... so i tried again and again she screamed out ,only this time as she leant forewards ther was 2 bright red hand imprints one on each shoulder ! ( ooops ! ) .... she yelled at me to let her feel my handfs ans was surprised to find they barely had the chill off them ....... so be warned ....

thats interesting! My hands get quite hot when I am doing healing and I also use colours in my healing. I am learning loads from Alan about colour healing, it's great.

There has always been a psychic link between my mother and I ...in fact it can be a pain ...literally !!... when i was 22 (all those years ago ) , mum and dad were away on hols in cornwall ..i was still in bromley (kent ).... i had been ill b4 they went , but in the middle of their hols i was rushed in to hospital for an emergency ruptured appendix ..... after the op when i came round i had pain in my side ..instantly i thought of mum , and placing my hand over the area of pain thought of her ...immediately i got the tingling sensation and the pain eased and went ...
when they came home a wk later mum said she'd told dad that something was wrong with me , and she too felt the pain i was going through , we checked times and dates , in fact she told me ! ...... nowdays i dont do hardly any healing ( though i believe my guides are telling me that now is the time to start again ) we still feel each others aches and pains ( often while i'm at work !! )and sure enough if we compare pain type / place and time ....... it's funny sometimes when sitting in the lounge of an eve and we both start ooching and ouching , both with a pain in the same place at the same time ... we laugh about it and blame each other ...... apologies if i've waffled on a bit ...kev x

I often pick up on Lynn's feelings and when I speak to her, I find out why I was feeling like I was.

A couple of weeks ago was feeling really stressesd out through probs at work. So i decided to do some mediation and i can only describe what was the most wonderful feeling from feeling from head to foot. I knew it was my spirit guide who was with me, they gave healing and a massage. I returned from the experince feeling 100 % refreshed and better and later when i tested my chakras all healed and yet before doing the meditaion they needed some work done on them
