This is a prayer wrote by St Francis himself and lead the Franciscan monks tell his death in 1212, he maybe best remembered for his healing and healing animals
Lord make me a instrument of your peace,
Where there is hared, let me sow love,
When there is injury, pardon,
Where there is doubt, faith,
Where there is dispair, hope,
Where there is darkness, light,
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Masters, grant that i may not so much
seek to be consoled as to console,
To be understood, as to understand,
To be loved as to love,
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we're pardoned
And it's in dying that we're born to eternal life _________________ love, light and truth
